Flight of Crows
(from Ben Gunn’s news article - 1922)
A flight of crows flew over town
A murder it would seem
And the people came from all around
Just to see
It was five miles wide and 20 miles long
So the people say
It filled the air until the sky turned black
On that day
Old man Juno got up that day
And loudly cried
We’re gonna stop that road from comin into town
Cause what’s mine is mine
And I’m not a man to be pushed around
Better listen to me
We’re gonna stop that road from comin into town
Just wait and see
Now 85 years have come and gone
How many dead and how many wronged
Cause Old Man Juno got his way
Yeh, money talks and it knows what to say
